Media outlets are reporting that Timothy Loemann, killer of Tamir Rice, has resigned from the White Sulphur Springs police department.
Subodh Chandra's statement:
While it's a relief that Loemann, yet again, is no longer a cop, there must be accountability for the atrocious judgment of the police chief and any other officials involved in the decision to entrust this kid killer and adjudicated liar with a badge and gun again. Only then might other officials grasp that he is radioactive. Loehmann's sense of entitlement seems pathological at this point, with his zeal to inflict himself on other communities. And he's dedicated to tormenting the Rice family, which continues to grieve in the year that Tamir would have turned 22—had Loehmann not killed him.
Find another vocation, child slaughterer.
Chandra's previous statement upon the news of Loehmann's hiring can be found here.
Subodh Chandra was one of the attorneys who represented the estate and family of Tamir Rice in their civil suit against the officers and City of Cleveland, and to assist them in pursuing criminal justice.
