City of Cleveland settles Tamir Rice police-shooting lawsuit for a record $6 million

We, as counsel for the mother and family of Tamir Rice, have asked United States Attorney General Merrick Garland to reopen the Department of Justice Civil Rights Division's investigation into the conduct of the officers responsible for killing 12-year-old Tamir Rice in November 2014, because of Washington Post and New York Times reports that the last administration politically interfered with the investigation.
