Case Western Reserve Law School Dean Lawrence Mitchell resigns; resignation follows lawsuit and University investigation

Tuesday, March 4, 2014

Case Western Reserve University's Law School Dean, Lawrence Mitchell, has resigned.

The resignation follows a lawsuit filed by The Chandra Law Firm on behalf of Professor Raymond Ku. The suit alleges that Mitchell retaliated against Ku for reporting sexual harassment by Mitchell against various women in the law school. (See previous blog entries.) The resignation also follows an investigation launched by the University, which is a co-defendant in the lawsuit.
